Sometimes it is necessary to carry out extraordinary operations in order to restore a certain reliability and durability of the instruments. This is sometimes required due to a lack of regular ordinary maintenance, and other times due to intensive use of the instrument, which wears out its parts more easily.
At the time of the inspection, the most obvious anomalies can be detected, but sometimes it becomes clear during the intervention that the condition of reliability cannot be restored except with extraordinary work.
It may also happen that you want to discover your instrument with different performances. In this case, you can proceed with the extraordinary replacement of parts, not so much out of a need for reliability, but in search of new, different, particular sounds.
Even the regeneration of the instrument is considered an extraordinary maintenance intervention.
If during the inspection the need for an intervention considered extraordinary arises, this will be duly reported in the estimate. In the event that the need for extraordinary operations is found during the intervention, it is our practice to contact the owner of the instrument for prior approval.
Even with extraordinary operations, maintenance is carried out within the week.
If we are asked for the regeneration of the instrument, the time required increases significantly. In this case, we keep the instrument for two to four weeks depending on the type of work.
